Stop just surviving: Heal and start thriving.
Do your thoughts and emotions ever feel like they’re eating away at your heart like a wildfire slowly spreading on a grass field in a drought?
Pain left unaddressed and unhealed tends to seep like poison into other areas of your life as well.
Trauma is the impact of being sinned against. Guilt and shame are heavy burdens and can become more significant the longer you hold them inside.
Not expressing those feelings and thoughts can start impacting you internally. Externally, they can affect your work performance, recreation time, and relationships with others.
Doing nothing makes it worse.
There’s often a temptation to keep going and ignore the feeling that something’s wrong. Stick some tape over the check engine light so you no longer have to deal with it.
Did you know that God created pain for a purpose?
If you get a wound from stepping on something sharp, the body’s design helps you receive a pain signal to let you know something terrible is happening right now, and you need to address the cause, avoid the source of pain in the future, and heal.
Treated wounds can heal, but wounds that go untreated get infected. You don’t have to live life infected by affliction and stay in the dark. You can find healing in the light.
The right medicine heals infected hearts.
Scripture has much to say about God caring for us in our pain. It says to cast your cares on God because He cares for you, and he’ll never leave or forsake you.
Counseling and therapy can help you heal and rely on the Lord by giving you practical steps and a safe space to treat the wounds. This help provides more than “suck it up and move on.”
We’re going to work through a healing plan together to help you identify the source of the pain, process it to where you can explore it in a safe environment, view it in a way that gives it less power over your life, and be able to give it away to God where it’s no longer yours to carry.
Don’t delay any longer.
Don’t wait any longer to address your wounds.
You don’t have to let those wounds stop you from reaching the potential God wants for you.
